Gamepads and USB joysticks work as soon as you press one of their buttons; the first is player 1, the second player 2. If a stick isn't recognised, use Remap. Paddle games: click the screen to turn the paddle with the mouse (Esc lets go), or use a stick, the arrow keys, or a Stelladaptor. Console: F1 Select, F2 Reset, F3/F4 colour/B&W, F5-F8 difficulty; a gamepad's Start is Reset and Back is Select.
